GLTs in the Trees at Brookfield Zoo

Veterinary House Call to Peru Coast

Veterinarian Mike Adkesson, from Chicago Zoological Society's Brookfield Zoo, reports from the coast of Peru on wildlife populations, including South American fur seals. Great Ape Advocate Madi Vorva

9th grader Madi Vorva is a teen Jane Goodall working to save orangutans. Madi visited Brookfield Zoo in November 2009, traveling from Plymouth, Michigan to participate in the International Orangutan Awareness Weekend. Active in Girl Scouts, she is also helping raise awareness about palm oil production in cookies and other baked goods.  more...
