Chicago Zoological Society Leads National Climate Literacy
Initiative to Inspire 20 Million Zoo Visitors to Battle Climate Change
Photo caption: Special moments like this provide the Chicago Zoological Society with a unique opportunity to educate its millions of visitors at Brookfield Zoo about climate change and what they can do to make a difference. The Society is leading a national Climate Literacy Zoo Education Network that includes 15 zoos and aquariums around the country. This collaboration has the potential to reach more than 20 million visitors annually with information about climate change and the impact it has both on wildlife and the environment.
