Baby Gibbon Branching Out in Tropic World

The white-cheeked gibbon baby is starting to explore a bit in Tropic World: Asia exhibit. White-cheeked gibbons are critically endangered, under threat from poaching and habitat destruction. Only 170 white-cheeked gibbons are managed in zoos worldwide, with even lesser numbers estimated to be remaining in the wild.  more...
