Work on the Wild Side at Brookfield Zoo
SSA Group to Host Job Fair on March 12
 

Brookfield, Ill. — Come join the crew at Brookfield Zoo. SSA Group, the company that manages the zoo’s gift shops, restaurants, catered events, and warehouse, is hosting a Job Fair on Saturday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the zoo’s Discovery Center.

SSA Group is looking to hire friendly, fun, energetic, and customer-service oriented individuals to work during Brookfield Zoo’s upcoming busy peak season as well as year-round. Positions, which start at $15 an hour, include food service associates—cashiers, line cooks, and table bussers; retail associates; retail warehouse associates; and catering associates—servers, set-up and take-down, dishwashers, and bartenders (must be 21 years or older). A number of supervisory positions are also available in these areas. Available openings feature part-time, flexible work schedules with availability Monday through Friday as well as weekends and holidays.

Additionally, the Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo, will have representatives at the Job Fair on March 12 to talk to individuals interested in applying for positions as admission attendants and Motor Safari adventure guides.

To attend the Job Fair, enter the zoo’s south entrance at 3300 Golf Road in Brookfield. Those interested in applying should be aware that the zoo is a location of business that follows a mandated COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees.
