The white ibis is a long-necked wading bird with a three-foot wingspan. Both sexes are similar in appearance, although males are slightly larger in both size and weight and have a larger beak. They are almost entirely white except for their black flight feathers and pink facial skin, bill, and legs. Adults have pale blue eyes. They also have long legs and a long, down-curved beak.
