Celebrate the Traditions of Día de los Muertos at Brookfield Zoo


Brookfield, Ill. —Brookfield, Ill. — Come alive and celebrate Día de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, at Brookfield Zoo while exploring the wonders of the animal kingdom. The event, brought to you by Chevrolet, takes place on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy all the colorful delights and traditions that Día de los Muertos holds.

Día De Los Muertos is a celebratory holiday that reunites those in the here and now with those in the great beyond. Zoogoers can immerse themselves in the holiday’s traditions, including face-painting (separate fees apply), sugar skulls (while supplies last), coloring sheets, and taking photos with the catrinas (traditional skeleton characters). Guests can also enjoy music and admire the latest vehicles of the Chevy family located throughout the park.

 Celebra las tradiciones del Día de los Muertos en el zoológico de Brookfield

 

Brookfield, Ill. — Pónganse vivos y celebremos el Día de los Muertos en el zoológico de Brookfield mientras exploras las maravillas del reino animal. El evento, presentado por Chevrolet, tendrá lugar el sábado 28 y el domingo 29 de octubre, de 10 am a las 5 pm. Durante el fin de semana, los visitantes podrán deleitarse de todas las coloridas tradiciones del Día de los Muertos.

El Día de los Muertos es una festividad que reúne a los del más acá con los que están en el más allá. Los visitantes del zoológico pueden ser parte de las tradiciones de la festividad, como pinta caritas (con cargo adicional), calaveritas de azúcar (hasta agotar existencias), hojas para colorear y tomarse fotos con las catrinas. También podrán disfrutar de música y admirar los últimos vehículos de la familia Chevy por todo el parque.
