Grey Seal - Georgie

As a pup, Georgie was found stranded on an island in Georgetown, ME near the Atlantic Ocean in 2013. It was determined that she is fully blind in her left eye and functionally blind in her right eye. Due to her vision impairments, the National Marine Fisheries Services deemed her unreleasable back to the wild. She is now a first-time mother to her male pup born on February 17, 2024, sired by our male grey seal Kiinaq. You can support our grey seals by adopting Georgie today.
